Before you choose

Is moissanite just a fake diamond?+
No. It is its own mineral — silicon carbide — first found by Henri Moissan in an Arizona meteorite crater in 1893 and grown in a lab today, nothing mined. It is not an imitation of anything, and it throws more fire than a diamond does: 0.104 against 0.044. That is why the flash breaks into color.
Will it fit?+
Yes. The chain is 16 cm with a 5 cm extension, about 6.3 to 8.3 inches end to end, and the lobster clasp fastens anywhere along it, snug or loose. If you are giving it, you do not need to know her size.
How big is the cluster, and how heavy is the bracelet?+
The cluster is about 15 mm tall: nine round brilliants in three sizes, one large, four medium, four small. The whole bracelet weighs about 3.5 grams. It is fine on purpose, so it stays out of the way at a keyboard or a steering wheel.
Will it tarnish? How do I care for it?+
The sterling silver is plated in rhodium, a hard white metal that keeps it bright far longer than bare silver. Plating wears with time, so put it on after perfume and lotion, take it off for pools and the sea, and wipe it with a soft cloth. Store it in its box.
Is it for every day, or for occasions?+
Every day first. The chain is fine and the cluster is small, so at a desk it reads as one point of light. In low light the nine stones do their work, so it goes to dinner without changing. It suits a wedding wrist, a bride's or a bridesmaid's, and the Tuesday after.
