The Mossante Infinity Heart Bracelet laid on a warm cream linen cloth: a fine cable chain in silver curving in from both edges to one ornament at the center, a round moissanite in prongs at the tip of a polished infinity, the infinity linked through an open heart lined with one row of small stones.
Close view of the polished silver infinity passing through the side of the open heart, the row of small moissanites round the heart and the round stone in its prongs, light breaking into color at the facets.
A sunlit Amalfi-style terrace: her hand resting on a warm stone balustrade beside a bowl of lemons, the sea glittering behind, late-afternoon golden light.
The Mossante Infinity Heart Bracelet

An open heart, linked through infinity.

In 1893 Henri Moissan pulled bright crystals from an Arizona meteorite crater and misread them. Today that mineral is grown in a lab. Small stones of it line this open heart.

Something hit Arizona

An iron meteorite struck the high desert and left a crater three quarters of a mile across. It is still there.

The chemist who first isolated fluorine, and who would win the Nobel Prize for it, began sifting fragments from the crater.

Eleven years of work proved them to be silicon carbide. In 1905 George Kunz named the mineral moissanite, after him.

Linked through the heart

A polished infinity passes through the heart, and a fine cable chain runs from each side. Then the white box.

Dispersion is how much colour a stone throws. Moissanite throws more than a diamond does.

Two colourless round brilliant stones under one light. The stone on the left throws saturated orange, green and violet fire. The stone on the right stays cool and white.

How it actually wears

A cut-out shot flatters. Here it is on an arm, through an ordinary day.

A Black woman's hand holding a black satin clutch against a black dress, warm restaurant lights blurred behind at dusk, the open heart and the infinity catching the light at her wrist.
Evening out
Two women's wrists side by side on a white linen brunch table in daylight, one olive-skinned and one light-skinned, each wearing the silver infinity heart bracelet, glasses of water behind.

Questions

Before you choose

Is moissanite just a fake diamond?+
No. It is its own mineral — silicon carbide — first found by Henri Moissan in an Arizona meteorite crater in 1893. It is not an imitation of anything, and it throws more fire than a diamond does: 0.104 against 0.044. The stones on this bracelet are grown in a lab, never mined.
How does it sit, and will it fit?+
It is a fine cable chain, and the heart and the infinity lie flat in one line on top of the wrist. If you want the exact chain length before you order, email us and a person will answer, usually within one working day.
What is it actually made of?+
An open heart lined with one row of small lab-grown moissanites, linked through a plain polished infinity with one larger round moissanite in prongs at its tip. A fine cable chain. All of it is 925 sterling silver. The stones are grown in a lab, never mined.
Will it tarnish? How do I care for it?+
Sterling silver can darken with time, and perfume, lotion and pool water hurry it. Put it on last, take it off for pools and the sea, wipe it with a soft cloth, and keep it in its box.
Is it for every day, or for occasions?+
Every day first. A small open heart on a fine chain stays out of the way at a desk or a steering wheel. A heart and an infinity suit an anniversary, a birthday or Valentine's Day, and it is fine enough to keep wearing on the Tuesday after.
When will it arrive, and what if it is not right?+
Free and tracked, to the US and worldwide. It ships within 2 to 5 business days, then allow 6 to 10 business days for delivery in the US; international orders can take a little longer. Then 30 days to send it back unworn in its box for a refund; return postage is yours.
How do I reach you, or order more than two?+
Email info@mossante.com. A person answers, usually within one working day. Write to the same address for a larger order or a change to your order. If it is a gift, tell us and we will leave the prices off the paperwork.
