Before you choose

Is moissanite a diamond?+
No. Moissanite is silicon carbide, a mineral in its own right, first found in a meteorite crater and now grown in a lab; it is not a diamond and we do not sell it as one. It has unusually high dispersion, which is why the flash breaks into color.
How does it go on, and will it fit?+
Slip the small loop over your finger, lay the chain over the back of your hand, and fasten the lobster clasp anywhere along the extension chain at the wrist. It adjusts from snug to loose, and the finger loop is small and fine. If you are giving it, you do not need to know her size.
Can I wear it with an engagement ring or a wedding band?+
Yes. The loop is a fine chain loop at the base of the finger, with the star on the back of the hand. Wear a ring on the same finger or the next one over.
Will it tarnish? How do I care for it?+
The silver is finished in rhodium, a hard white metal that keeps it bright far longer than bare silver. Put it on after lotion and perfume, take it off for pools and the sea, and wipe it with a soft cloth. Store it in its box.
Is it for every day, or for occasions?+
Every day first. The chain is fine and the stones are small, so it stays out of the way at a desk or a steering wheel. It suits a wedding hand, a bride's or a bridesmaid's, and it is fine enough to keep wearing on the Tuesday after.
